LT Erik Jensen
Lieutenant Jensen was born in Castro Valley, CA. He enlisted in the U.S Navy in 2007 as a Master at Arms. His first tour was serving as a force protection sentry, a patrol officer, and a harbor coxswain in Yokosuka, Japan. His next station was in Naples, Italy where he was an armorer and assistant watch commander.
In 2013 he separated from the military and attended University of California San Diego with a degree in Cognitive Science. He attended Officer Candidate School in 2019 and was commissioned as an Ensign on 13 June 2019. His first division officer tour was onboard USS Dewey (DDG 105) as the Communications Officer. He served 30 months onboard and assisted in the homeport shift from San Diego to Yokosuka, Japan. After he left USS Dewey, LT. Jensen was assigned as the Training Officer onboard USS Pearl Harbor
LT Jensen reported the University of Arizona NROTC in January 2025 where he currently serves as the staffs Surface Warfare Officer and Freshmen Class Advisor, preparing midshipmen to commission as Ensigns in the United States Navy.
