Welcome Aboard!

The Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) program develops young men and women morally, mentally, and physically, and instills in them the highest ideals of honor, courage, and commitment. The program educates and trains young men and women for leadership positions in an increasingly technical Navy and Marine Corps. This program is for students pursuing an undergraduate degree who desire to serve their country as Naval or Marine Corps Officers

The Battalion here at the University of Arizona is made up of a terrific mix of over 70 students: students from high schools and colleges around the country and Sailors and Marines on active duty in the STA-21 and MECEP programs. This mix provides a unique environment where academics, physical training, and leadership training are heavily flavored with the experiences of the Fleet.
